Jesus Christ Superstar

The musical stage play “Jesus Christ Superstar” has started its tour in Australia. Director Laurence Connor delivers the historical story into present time and his vision received enthusiastic reviews from the audience who watched the performance of Tim Minchin, Ben Forster, Jon Stevens and former Spice Girls member Mel C. Musical phenomenon Tim Minchin portrays Judas Iscariot while Mel C portrays the character Mary Magdalene and the talented Ben Forster is cast with the lead role of Jesus Christ. During the Australian tour, Jon Stevens takes on the character of "Pontius Pilate" and Andrew O'Keefe is "King Herod.” Tim Minchin revealed in an interview that he would have no concerns in portraying Jesus Christ if he was offered the role. However, the role of Judas Iscariot is a challenging one that Tim Minchin would gladly do with a great deal of liveliness and passion. This new version of the well-known Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical score is reviewed to be so influential that it captivated the audience at the Perth Arena causing them to stand up on their feet and cheer loudly. At the end of the show, the audience could not utter negative comments because what they have is the buzzer of approval and praise. Additional shows have already been confirmed across Australia and tickets are expected to be immediately sold out in just a couple of hours. “Jesus Christ Superstar” is recommended as something essential to be watched because of the lessons that can be learned when you deeply reflect on the musical play’s complete relevance to the world today. One notable lesson that can be applied to daily life is the attitude on money. People should have an unbiased outlook when it comes to earning and handling money. Dealing with earned money is comparable to gambling. You should know when to push forward in order to further succeed in your venture or when to stop because greediness is taking over you. Some people tend to think about money when they do not have it in different ways. They always tell you what they can do if they acquire a large amount of money, for instance, if they won the jackpot prize on the lottery. It is kind of distressing that they are already spending so much money in their minds before even getting their hands on it so once they received the money, it is already immediately spent. Success and wealth can be stripped away from you if you have the uncontrollable and useless greedy desire to acquire more money just for splurging. Control the fixation on money so you can become successful and continue to do so with a positive effect to the people around you like reaching out to those who are in need. Keep in mind that the “I want more” attitude will not be a really helpful approach when it comes to savings because greed will cause you to never grow on your venture. Carefully think before making a decision if you wish to double or triple your money and if you succeed, be in command of your capability to earn money and use it for good and reasonable purposes.
