In a household, there is no doubt
that the kitchen will always be the busiest spot when it comes to gathering of
family and friends. Food preparation and cooking takes place in the kitchen and
it requires a quality design of spacing and material used in order to make the
room functional and effective at the same time for culinary purposes. Kitchen
utensils need to be placed in an orderly fashion which makes the room very
conducive to the eyes especially when there are guests around. However, it is
suggested that having maple kitchen cabinets will make it even more appealing. Kitchen
cabinets made out of maple can come in handy, affordable and durable when it
comes to storing kitchen cooking equipments. It also offers a lot of color
variations that will perfectly suit a kitchen design of your choice. The beauty
of having maple kitchen cabinets exudes a look of class and elegance at home.

Hollywood Actor John Travolta Shurgs Off Sex Scandal Involvement
Appearing unfazed with the sex
scandals that envelope him, John Travolta seems to have the intention of just
living it up to a title of one of his films: “Be Cool.” The actor showed no
worries when he was spotted laughing and joking with some fans that were
outside of his hotel in New York City. The 58-year old Travolta looked very
cheerful as he stepped out of the car and then warmly welcomed the attention of
the supportive fans waiting for him.
Recently, the “Face/Off” actor has been
very busy promoting his latest Oliver Stone film, “Savages.” Travolta was at
the premiere of the movie with his wife, Kelly Preston, and the couple put on a
surprisingly display of affection. Their public appearance showing their
sweetness with each other is proof that all is well between the couple whose
marriage has been put to a test after gay sex allegations were thrown at
Travolta. He has been happily married to actress Kelly Preston since
1991. The couple was blessed with three children. However, their eldest child
Jett died in 2009 at the very young age of 17 because of a seizure.
News are currently emerging that
the sailor, who accused Travolta of sexual harassment, is suing the actor once
again for assault this time. These scandals heated up just last month when two
lawsuits were filed from the male masseurs who claimed that John Travolta had
made sexual advances at them when they were giving him a body massage.
According to reports, one claim has already been withdrawn. Last week, author
Robert Randolph has taken into consideration filing another lawsuit against
Travolta and his lawyer, Marty Singer, for making false claims about the author’s
mental condition that questions his credibility. Randolph’s book, “You’ll Never
Spa in This Town Again” never made it to the bookshelves because he claimed
that Travolta and his lawyer managed to stop its publication. The author wrote
down explosive information in the book that he has witnessed Travolta engaging
in a sexual intercourse with men at several bath houses.
There are other
persons suddenly coming out and making such claims about the actor, not knowing
what really their intentions are, but John Travolta never addressed these
allegations directly. However, the actor’s legal team has strenuously denied
these allegations and his lawyer said that they will also take legal actions.
'The Dark Knight Rises' Batman Character Must Die?
Superhero Batman cannot possibly die. Bruce
Wayne made that clear on the “Batman Begins” movie when he was on his jet
together with Alfred. "As a
man, I'm flesh and blood. I can be ignored I can be destroyed, but as a symbol
I can be incorruptible, I can be everlasting." Those were his words and it
has always been the mindset of Batman. It has been a common comic book practice
that major characters must not die. However, there are some reports claiming
that there is only one way to finally put an end to this movie franchise.
Comic-film versions never
took the lead character up to the point that they die and take the risk of
ending a very successful movie franchise but an ending to the series is what Christopher
Nolan, the director of the film, intends to precisely do with the movie “The
Dark Knight Rises.” Co-writer Jonathan,
Nolan’s brother, shared his thoughts to Empire magazine about his feelings on a
solid ending to a film. He believes that it helps the storyteller’s functions.
"It's
the right way to end it, to blow the whole thing up! It's better than trying to
spin the thing out indefinitely and make it into the Bond franchise,"
Jonathan Nolan said. "I mean, they've successfully pulled it off with
Bond, but at certain costs, certainly at the cost of continuity. I think with
almost every other franchise it's a mistake to try and keep those plates
spinning. You want stakes. You
want tectonic plates to shift. And as a writer you want to feel you've worked
on a complete story with a beginning, a middle and an end," Jonathan
added.
Meanwhile,
co-writer David S. Goyer described the final sequence of the movie. "The
final scene of 'The Dark Knight Rises' is exactly that scene we talked about
then," Goyer said. "It remained completely unchanged. We both knew in
our hearts that we were onto something special. I have to tell you, having
finally seen everything strung together and seeing that scene, I got a complete
lump in my throat,” he further shared. Goyer’s emotional reaction and statement
became a very much-circulated proof about the demise of Bruce Wayne. Does that
really mean the death of Batman or is it just a retirement for Bruce Wayne?
Well, Bruce Wayne or Batman’s fate will not be fully concealed until the
opening of movie “The Dark Knight Rises” in theaters on July 20.
Spice Girls Reunite For A Musical Launch in London
Girl power
is back. While Irish group Westlife members decided to go on their separate
ways, British pop sensation Spice Girls reunite to announce the details of a
musical to be launched in London. The said musical is based on their hit songs
and the storyline is based on their fame and the tale of a female friendship.
For the first time, the girl group reunited after four years since their
2007-2008 reunion tour. Geri Halliwell,
also known as “Ginger Spice,” famously left the group with bitterness in 1998
and then the group eventually split up. The five members of the Spice Girls
have not appeared publicly together until now. These girls are very excited for
the upcoming new musical which will be based on their experiences while
featuring their biggest hit songs.
Numerous
speculations about the musical show and the non-stopping conflicts between the
Spice Girls members have been circulating for months. However, the famous
members of the group namely Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton,
Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown made a public appearance showing their
support for the musical launch.
According to
The Associated Press reports, the “Viva Forever” musical revives the music of
the girl powered group in the 90s. It simply tells a story of four good friends
whose closeness with one another is put to the test when they become a part of
a television talent show. The Spice Girls admitted that they were really
delighted with the upcoming show. “Viva Forever” will be produced by Judy
Craymer and she is none other than the woman behind the success of the ABBA
musical film “Mamma Mia.”
"It's
better than we could ever have imagined," said Melanie Chisholm, also
known as “Sporty Spice.” The musical show is written by comedienne Jennifer Saunders, who
co-created the TV sitcom "Absolutely Fabulous." Meanwhile, Victoria
Beckham said that the show would totally introduce a new meaning to Girl Power.
"Viva Forever" will have its preview this November and the musical will
finally have its grand opening at London’s Piccadilly Theater in December.

“Snow White and The Huntsman” Star Chris Hemsworth Saved His Co-Star From a Horse Fall
“Snow White and The Huntsman”
star Chris Hemsworth saved his fellow actor, Sam Claflin, from a dangerous
horse fall while filming an action scene for the latest fairytale movie.
Claflin admitted about the Australian actor’s heroic act. According to the
young English actor, Hemsworth made no hesitation in rescuing him from his
painful ordeal with gravity as he fell off a horse.
In an interview during the movie premiere, Claflin shared the story
about the accident that happened on set. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star
said that he and Chris never had the experience of dismounting a horse that is
still running. “However, we tried. The director says action! We run in, I
decide it probably wasn’t a clever idea to slow the horse down because I want
to look cooler,” Claflin said. However, his costume which was a top-to-toe
armor made it very restrictive for the actor to move freely as he wished. “I hopped my leg over, my other
foot gets caught in the stirrup, my face hits the floor I'm wailing on the
ground like a turtle unable to get up," he revealed.
Sam Claflin, who portrays William in the Snow White film, also admitted
that his fall from the horse made him a little bit red-faced. What made him
more flushed is the way Chris Hemsworth saved him by doing a style that was
close enough to a classic swashbuckler with cinematic effect. “The most embarrassing thing was
that I turn around and look up and Chris just glamorously glides off his horse
like James Dean in a medieval film in his leathers, the guy literally made it
look so cool, and I'm still struggling to get up, and luckily he managed to
help me and get me to my feet,” Claflin shared. “I mean what can you say? I'm a
lucky man, he's my Prince Charming,” the actor joked.
Australian
actor Chris Hemsworth has already gained that much attention and stardom for
his tough roles in the films “Thor,” “The Avengers” and “Snow White and The
Huntsman.” His good looks are enough to attract a lot of female fans but his
generosity and willingness to help someone who is in danger makes him earn a
lot of respect especially from his co-star Sam Claflin. He must have also felt
somewhat grateful to Chris Hemsworth who was around to help him and save the
day.
Hollywood Actress Kristen Stewart Says ‘Snow White’ Is No Fairytale Perfect Girl
Kristen Stewart would not
have agreed to take on the lead role for the film “Snow White and The Huntsman”
if the character was way too perfect. Is Snow White really far from perfect?
The actress who portrays Snow White spoke about the character in her latest
movie. Stewart claimed that she admired the concept of director Rupert Sanders
re-telling the story of Snow White. What Kristen Stewart loved the most is the
idea of allowing her character to be simple, pure, kind and in touch with
animals as well as the earth but at a point that she is still human with some
flaws.
“I think
what we were excited to do was put her in a world of danger and see if she
could actually remain that person and humanize her a bit and not make her this
like fairy-tale archetypal perfect girl. It is hard to root for someone who is
clearly not going to lose,” the 22-year old actress said on an interview with “Freshly
Squeezed.”
Stewart also
shared her opinion that it was necessary to make some changes about the story
of Snow White because she believed that fairytales are really old. However, the
young actress admitted that these stories are worthwhile and it is probably one
reason why they are still around. “The stories stick around so long because
there is something in them. They don't have the same impact unless you change a
few things. In this case it was really important to make Snow White someone who
encompasses the maternal, care-taking. I think it is totally worth it,” Stewart
explained.
“Snow White
and The Huntsman” director, Rupert Sanders, revealed at the world premiere of
the movie why he chose Kristen Stewart to portray Snow White for the movie. "To
be honest, having 100 billion fans is actually an advantage when you're making
a big film like this," Sanders said. Stewart’s ties to the “Twilight”
films may be one reason why Sanders wanted to cast the actress. However,
Stewart’s strong belief about the lead character is what defines her and with
that, Sanders found the perfect Snow White for the blockbuster fairytale movie.
