What Is Your Life’s Purpose?
When you rise up in the morning, do you pause for a second to ponder and then eventually answer the million dollar question: “What is your life’s purpose?” This question could serve as a wake-up call to those who take their daily busy lives for granted.
Life happens so fast and there is the inevitable knowledge that all of the people in this world will expire in their respective time. In order to have a meaningful life before it is taken away from us, one should make a difference in their personal life as well as with someone else’s.
Why? It would be very ideal that when a person expires, he or she will be remembered with a pinch of happiness and sadness from the people around. Sadness, of course, because the presence of that person will be missed while on the other hand is happiness because he or she was able to live a meaningful life and leave a legacy of accomplishments behind that family and friends will always remember and may even utilize to carry on with life.
No need to fret if you can’t seem to find the purpose of your life because some people are most likely going through the same thing. Keep in mind that God has already arranged His plan for you but He is just waiting for the right time to come and give it. Have faith in God that He will show your life’s path and purpose in His time so be patient.
Nearly everyone thinks that getting a life purpose means doing and achieving something that you truly yearn for. When things become unclear for you, certain actions can be done to know if you were able to find your life’s purpose or not.
Take the time to list down all of the activities that you do with pleasure. From there, you can determine what could possibly be the true calling of your life as you exist.
For instance, if your job performance does not make you feel pleased, take the risks of trying new and interesting things. Remember that even though God closes the door, somewhere He will open a window for you so grab that opportunity.
Living a life with purpose can be emanated through a person’s feelings. Obviously, you will feel contentment, ecstatic and energetic every single day. The minute that you no longer feel that way, you better look through the list and determine if something must be added to make life more meaningful.
One must also be surrounded with people that will help you become a better person and not drag you down. Do not let people make decisions for you because you are in-charge of your life. It sounds painful but sometimes you really have to say no to family or friends if you think their suggestions will not do you any good.
Finally, never ever give up because you do not know the exact purpose of your life. Remember that life goes on and no matter how many times you stumble, you will still be given the chance to get back up and prove that you can fulfill your life’s purpose.
